Material Delivery 

You’ll receive an email with instructions and a link for material delivery. This linking includes all the media related to your campaign / reservation.

Material information

Prices require digital material in PDF format. The materials are kept for one year.

1. PRINTING FONT TO BE USED

In open files, Open type printing fonts.

2. COLOURS AND IMAGES

Define all colours as process colours (CMYK). Always convert spot colours (PMS) to process colours. The resolution of tonal images must be at least 300 dpi and the resolution of line images must be at least 600 dpi at the final size.

3. PAGE SIZE AND BLEED

The size of the publication is the cut size of the magazine. The bleeds are more than 5 mm over the magazine cut size. Bleeds are made on all edges of the ad. Text and other elements should not be placed closer than 5 mm from the cut size. Glue-bound magazines must take into account the effect of the back on texts that go beyond the opening (5 mm/page). Crop marks, etc. must be outside the bleed. The spread size of a glue-bound magazine is the same as that of a stapled magazine.

4. DELIVERY OF MATERIAL

Advertising material is uploaded to the material management system. After booking the advertising space, the supplier of the material will receive an email with a link and instructions on how to download the material. The system performs a technical inspection of the material during download. If the provider of the material has not received an email with a link, please contact us at yrityspalvelu@otavamedia.fi.

5. SERVICE NOTIFICATIONS TO BE PREPARED

Send text, pictures, layout model, and other instructions to ilmoitukset@otavamedia.fi. Production prices for service notifications: € 60/advertisement + image processing €20/image. Larger sizes: ask for more information from media sales.

7. ADDRESS SPACE

The notification sizes table contains ready-made back cover sizes that take into account the 30 mm address space for the subscriber address.
